Dr. Phillip R. Bowden is the founder and Medical Director of the Mid-South Gastroenterology Group and Phillip R. Bowden, M.D., P.A. In 1996 he was the first Gastroenterologist to build a freestanding outpatient Endoscopy Center in Memphis, and since that time, has developed a reputation for providing painless care.
Dr. Bowden believes in taking an innovative approach to health care and insists that his staff members consistently deliver excellent service. He is committed to carrying out the mission of the practice, which is to provide quality, cost-efficient health care to its patients, to hire the best people and treat them well, to be responsible citizens in the community and to operate on sound business principles.
Together, with the other members of the professional staff, Dr. Bowden is focused on placing his patients’ medical care first.
